Protect Our Open Space
Fred
Wood stood up and spoke at the council meeting on March 30, 2000 to protect the open space
for the Rio Salado Park from potential encroachment by developers. As a member of
the Parks and Recreation Board, Dr. Wood is in position to protect the 400 acres of park
land promised to the people of Tempe by the Tempe City Council.
